Non-Aligned Movement:
The Non-Aligned Movement is a group of states that are not formally aligned with or against any major power bloc. As of 2018, the movement has 125 members. It was established in 1961 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia.
Founded : 1961, Belgrade, Serbia
Headquarters : Jakarta, Indonesia
Membership : 125 members and 24 observer countries.
Founders : Jawaharlal Nehru , Sukarno , Josip Broz Tito,Gamal Abdel Nasser , Kwame Nkrumah

DND hopes for two major objectives to be fulfilled by member states of NAM:

I:  that nuclear states become observer status until they have given up their nuclear arsenals and ICBMs*

II:  that more countries join NAM to help rid the world of war and nuclear weapons.

*  This is problematic for India as it was a founding member of the organisation. But it would be a GIANT LEAP FORWARD if both member states India and Pakistan were to give up their nuclear arsenals!

FORWARD

It would be wonderful if Australia, New Zealand and Canada become permanent members of NAM together with more from the  European Nations ! Japan and Korea should think about joining also !
